Irene Joliot Curie: Her daughter who also won a Nobel prize in chemistry in 1935. 3. Albert Einstein: They shared a mutual respect and friendship, and they often discussed scientific ideas. Curie Foundation: Established in 1920 this foundation supported the research activities of the Institute du Radium and contributed to the development of medical projects 2. - Marie Curie's religious beliefs: Marie's father was an atheist, her mother a devout Catholic the deaths of Maria's mother and sister caused her to give up Catholicism and become agnostic. Agnostic- ag·nos·tic meaning a person who believes that nothing is known or can be known of the existence or nature of God or of anything beyond material phenomena; a person who claims neither faith nor disbelief in God. Marie Curie was a revolutionary, a feminist and she did exhibit some traits that might align with libertarian values.
